Yvette is passionate about working in the Early Childhood Education field. She started out as a preschool cook in 1992 and continued to strive toward her goals of becoming an assistant teacher, lead teacher, assistant director and now director. She continues her commitment to advocating for the needs of children in all facets of their development. It is important to Yvette to develop good relationships with her staff, as well as the families of the children in her center, so that children are provided with the best care and educational experiences possible. Yvette holds her A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education as well as her Directors credential (VPK endorsed), CDA credential, First aid, CPR and more. On her days off, Yvette enjoys cooking, gardening, home projects and spending time with her family, her friends and her pets.
